About Me
Matt Miller is a Sussex-Based Guitar Tutor, offering a wide range of lessons to guitarists of all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced players looking to improve.
Matt’s formal training includes studying jazz at Leeds Conservatoire, alongside extensive experience and leadership within big bands, jazz combos, function bands, backing bands, worship settings and choral music. Alongside session work, Matt has developed skills in arrangement, musical direction and composition through his work as a bandleader. With his playing rooted in contemporary jazz-rock guitar styles, Matt is currently developing a solo EP influenced by fusion, prog-rock and jazz, drawing inspiration from players including Mark Lettieri, Guthrie Govan, Greg Howe and Tom Quayle.
